As of June 30, 2015, 64 officers have been killed in the line of duty. Of these, 30 officers were killed in traffic-related incidents, 18 officers were killed in firearms-related incidents and 16 officers died due to job-related illnesses and other causes.
These are among the many findings of the 2015 Mid-Year Law Enforcement Officer Fatalities Report released by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
